The Activity Centre of Holy Cross, Greenford Scouts, Guides, Brownies, Cub Scouts, Rainbows & Beavers

Our gala was again held in the rectory garden of Holy Cross Church Greenford by kind permission of the Rector - Prebendary Neil Richardson. The gala was opened by Stephen Pound, MP for Ealing North at 12noon. The new Mayor of the London Borough of Ealing Councillor Kamaljit Dhindsa visited later in the afternoon and met the stallholders. The fund raising gala, held to support local guides, scouts & other charities, raised much needed funds. With a bouncy castle, crockery smash, an old fashioned set of stocks, sideshows and plant sales there was plenty to do, see and buy. A large number of local children with parents & friends enjoyed the beautiful sunny afternoon. The 9th Greenford Scouts BBQ did a brisk trade and the 1st Greenford Guides provided superb refreshments which included cream teas. The Gala turned out to be both a social event and a great success.
