Our gala was a great success again this year.
The week before, everyone was checking the weather bulletins as the rain hardly seemed to stop pouring down. Although rain was forecast, thank goodness it failed to materialise! The event was opened by the Deputy Mayor at 12noon following a morning of feverish activity from all the participants. The Gala - more of a traditional village fete really - was well attended with groups from around the Borough of Ealing. Our 9th Greenford Scouts again worked wonders with their 'All Day Breakfasts'  and the 1st Greenford Guides provided a superb spread of cakes, snacks and refreshments in the Scout Hut.
At 1pm we were treated to the
Trooping of The Colour fly past.
