At 9th Greenford Scout Hut
GSK Brentford, came along to our 9th Greenford Scout Hut to carry out some outside painting of the doors & corrugated iron protective skirt. The help was provided under GSK's Orange Day Project.
The five helpers made an excellent job of the painting & tidying up of the activity area by removing over-hanging trees and fallen leaves. Bryan, from the Brambles committee, made the tea & kept an eye on proceedings!
There was just a little time for a tea break before work continued at breakneck speed!!
When the area was cleared a female slow worm was found under a sheet of metal being warmed up  by the sun.

 Tree trimming in full swing!

A huge thank you goes to GSK for their Orange Day Project and to the people who came along to help us!

The Hut spick & span! The result of everyone’s hard work.   The cleared activity area all ready for the Scouts on Friday!
