The Activity Centre of Holy Cross, Greenford Scouts, Guides, Brownies, Cub Scouts, Rainbows & Beavers

Our Bonfire Night was a huge success in spite of a very damp start! The rain held off just long enough for the fire lighting and the fireworks - which was great!  About 150 people came to Brambles for our annual event. There were Guides, Scouts Brownies and Cubs from Holy Cross Greenford who came along with their parents and group leaders. We also invited along some other local groups and nearby neighbours.

Andi, Nev, Ainsley & Paul managed the event and made sure that the fireworks made a great display. Some Scouts made a Guy which was burned on our large bonfire.  Nora, Mick & Lesley prepared warming soup and hot dogs for everyone. Steph and Chris organised a tuck shop which went down really well. Right at the end the heavens opened and it poured with rain just after the last firework was lit! Perfect timing!

Our thanks go to everyone who made this evening go with such a - - BANG!!

We all really enjoyed ourselves and are now looking forward to next year's event!
